Things to see and Do around the Illawarra

There are plenty of beach walks, cycling and sealed walking tracks to explore. Some of the best include cycling from Thirroul, Bulli, East Corrimal to North Wollongong and around to the Wollongong lighthouse -  a flat sealed track ideal for walking or wheels. Others include walking the Seacliff Bridge, bushwalks at Mt Keira, The Illawarra Escarpment and Sublime walking tracks and strolling around the Wollongong Botanical Gardens. Shellharbour also has nice walks along the harbour and marina, in the Killalea State Park and Blackbutt Forest and around Lake Illawarra. 

Discover the power and beauty of the world-famous Kiama Blowhole, a sea-cliff cavern that spouts seawater skywards on the NSW South Coast. On the way stop in at Shellharbour and check in at the Harbour foreshore and Marina.
